A radar, not a browsing tool

New 1-bed flats,
the moment they’re listed.

flatping watches the letting sources around the clock and puts only the new, matching flats on one deck — and pings you the moment one is listed. Love or dismiss — it learns what you like.

How it works

How it works

1

Set your radar once

Budget, areas, pets, must-haves. Two minutes at first login, tuneable any time.

2

The sources get watched

Polling, dedupe and matching run server-side. Only new flats inside your rules ever reach you.

3

Swipe

Love or dismiss. Verdicts train the ranking, and a push notification lands when something good is listed.

Why it’s different

New listings only

Every flat you see is new since your last visit. Nothing you’ve already dismissed comes back.

Push, not pull

The flat finds you. A Web Push arrives when a match is listed — no checking, no refreshing.

It learns your taste

Loved and dismissed flats both count. The deck re-ranks itself around what you actually like.

Fast on the bus

Mobile-first, one thumb, works on flaky signal. A swipe offline is queued, never lost.

Questions, answered

What is flatping?

flatping is a rental radar, not a property search portal. It watches the letting sources continuously and shows only new 1-bed flats that match your rules — on a swipe deck, not a listings grid. Love or dismiss each flat; the deck learns your taste and never shows you the same flat twice.

Which areas does flatping cover?

South-West London by default: Battersea, Clapham, Balham, Chelsea, Putney, Wandsworth, Fulham, Hammersmith and West Kensington — SW11, SW8, SW12, SW4, SW3 and SW10 as the favourites tier, with SW15, SW18, W14, W6, SW6 and SW5 also watchable. You pick the districts to watch, tiered by preference.

How quickly does flatping find new flats?

The letting sources are re-checked roughly every 20 minutes. A new listing that matches your rules appears on your deck and arrives as a push notification — typically within the hour of being listed.

Does flatping work for dog owners?

Yes. Flats that explicitly say no pets are hidden from your deck, and every card shows the nearest park and its walking distance, so dog-friendliness is visible at a glance.

Is there an app to install?

flatping is a web app: installable from the browser on phone or desktop, built mobile-first, tolerant of flaky signal (offline swipes are queued, never lost), and it can send push notifications like a native app.
